The Together Programme

The Ahead Together Project is being delivered across  Erewash . It aims to provide support for parents struggling with mental ill health with at least one young child. The project has three strands that parents can be referred in to:

Parents Together; the family would be matched to one of our trained volunteers, who would provide one to one support for 2-3 hours per week.

Breathe Together; An eight week person centred programme providing mental health support and advice around anxiety and depression, isolation, self-esteem and loneliness.  This is currently accessed online due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Bridge Together; A virtual drop in that can be accessed online via zoom on a weekly basis.  The facilitated group will promote peer support, encouraging long term relationships within the community.

One to one counselling is also available to parents requiring further psychological support.
